Vickie will read selections from her book, Misfits for Jesus, and share the inspirations behind her writing. Copies of each book will be available for purchase. No Registration Required.
The Effingham Public Library is delighted to welcome Vickie Kight for a special author reading and book talk. Following the reading, guests will have the opportunity to ask questions, join in conversation, and enjoy a book signing.
A tragic accident at sixteen years old left Vickie mentally and spiritually broken and lost. But twenty-five years later, she would truly surrender her life to Jesus Christ. The next day God met her on her own "Road to Damascus." Just like Paul from the bible, Vickie experienced heaven and received her first of many assignments from God. This is a testimony of a misfit for Jesus. God sent angels to open supernatural doors for her and other misfits to walk through. Believers and nonbelievers witnessed miracle after miracle and the power of God.
This event is free and open to the public. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering Vickie Kight for the first time, this is a wonderful chance to celebrate literature, creativity, and community.
