A discussion of the book "Dear William: A Father's Memoir of Addiction, Recovery, Love, and Loss" followed by a panel discussion about recovery. Copies of the book are available at the Library.
A book discussion on Dear William: A Father's Memoir of Addiction, Recovery, Love, and Loss by David Magee, followed by a panel discussion dealing with the essentials of recovery. There are copies of the book available at the Library for checkout. Those who have not read the book but would like to come to the discussion anyway are encouraged to do so.
A panel discussion on the essentials of recovery will follow the book discussion. Representatives from the Problem Solving Court will be in the panel as well as second chance employers who will hire people with a judicial past. There will be questions prepared for the panel ahead of time but everyone who attends is encouraged to ask any questions that they may have.
The book discussion is from 5:00 to 6:00 PM and the panel discussion is from 6:00 to 7:00 PM.
You may attend both of these free discussions or only one of them but registration is required for both.
